Nice old Ford and a Kubelwagen too. That plus all that other gear should get you some attention. It's nice to see blank fire units unafraid to show up and recruit on an airsoft board. You guys and the 6th FJ unit also from out west aren't afraid to enjoy both realms. That is, blank fire and airsoft. It would be great to see more cross-pollination amongst the groups. They both offer great pastimes and where the two can co-exist they both gain from it. Keep your own standards by all means but allow an open mind for those that like to participate in both and can meet standards in whatever unit and activity is taking place at the time. I myself like the blank fire scripted battles and public displays. I also can live with the introduction of blanks at airsoft events though I'd rather be shooting plastic. Good luck with the recruitment. A little too far away for me but maybe some Midwest Reenacting units want to broaden their circle of acquaintances and then I'd consider it.

Very cool reenactment team. I love that beach picture... waiting Overlord to start! You guys really do it right and it looks fun. A bit far for me to travel but if I could I would love to submit an application.

The interesting question is why is WWII Airsoft not also called WWII reenacting? I've often wondered that myself. I guess so we don't confuse people who are into one or the other. I'll echo Otto's post that I have no problem with the two worlds mixing a little bit. Good Luck in growing your unit for airsoft! We need more Heer!

u guys look awesome and i love the ford v3000 ;D Only because I have the Ford at War book ... That is not a V3000. That designation applied to the 40-41 Fords. What is pictured is pre-1938. I can't tell whether it is 37 or 36 Ford or earlier. But it would have most likely been designated by the Wehrmacht as Ford Model V8-51, a three ton truck built between 1937 and 1951. The awesome part I agree with.
