Not sure if it is an illusion but the proportions of your MG42 seem odd. I am not sure if the top of the receiver is too high or something else. Maybe post more pictures of the gun along with more pics of the internals and specs of the type of gear box used, FPS and so forth. For 2K you are giving very little information on the guts. Also, the picture of the MG42 in the crate is not the one you are selling as it appears to be the one from Robertrtg.com. You may want to clarify that. Again post more pictures of the actual gun you are trying to sell and less stock pictures of the transit chests. Also, does it come with a bipod?

Thanks for your interest in our MG. We posted on this forum sometime back the internal setup of this AEG. It is built off of an M249 setup. The stock fps is that of 375. I did not imply that the gun in the chest was our AEG. The photo came from the manufacturer of the chest as is the custom when selling another’s product www.brpguns.com/products/MG42-Transit-Chest.htmlwww.robertrtg.com/mgtransitchest.htmlWe will have this up on youtube shortly. Our account is AirsoftCornerCom. If you have any other concerns please email us at sales@airsoftcorner.com

Gosh. I wish it wasn't so expensive; its more than Shoei's.

Gosh. I wish it wasn't so expensive; its more than Shoei's. Not really. Then you have to buy the air rig to run it. That’s if it shoots. We’ve sold 6 Shoei MG42s in our 10 years of service and not one shot very well. It’s one awesome replica MG-42 but NOT very airsoft functional.

The Shoei was a beautiful reproduction. I had the honor of firing one once and what a thrill. Unfortunately they are hard to come by. Below is a link showing various pictures and descriptions for the Shoei at $1,365. www.modelguns-worldwide.com/mg42.htmAside from the real thing (which I have also fired and currently own) the Shoei comes in a close second both in weight, quality, proportions and perfect attention to detail.

JP - Yes the airsoft corner MG-42 has some scale inequities but I think you should be able to suspend your disbelief for airsoft reliability. The Shoei just does not have that without lots of TLC and maybe not even then. Burt's gun clearly is a replica of an MG-42 and look at the cup half full. My Ultima (formerly Burt's) has had work and rework and is currently going to be main armament on a soon to be completed project but I wouldn't say I have absolute faith in it yet. The Ultima feed system had to be scraped and if the gearbox goes than I am out of luck. Burt's option has readily replaceable parts. $300 of his price is also tied up in a nice crate. I think the bipod question needs addressing but if he has a 375-FPS stock MG-42 offering he is the only game in town at present. Supply and Demand. Here is a link to how mine shoots! s125.photobucket.com/albums/p42/Miker_10/MG42%20Movies/?action=view¤t=M4V00196.mp4It really does hum and goes through ammo fast. Burt - Good Luck with your endeavor and maybe when the economy picks back up, people will find the funds again.

Yes it does come with a removable Bi-pod. Thanks Ersatzjack.

Like I said we sold 6 Shoei MG-42s and not one was really airsoft worthy but in all one very nice replica. We decided to go the more reliable AEG route with a gearbox that has readily accessible parts and a 2 year warranty on the body and 60 day gearbox. Oh, and its in the USA not China or the UK so you wont have to pay hundreds in shipping and its also in stock...
To all the naysayers. The only thing we are trying to do is bring a much wanted and more reliable and readily available WW2 airsoft replica to the sport for all to enjoy. It is our hope that all understand that we want this sport to grow and by actually making available such products we hope to have a hand in doing this .

How much for one of your Kar98ks?

Post by Schmozilla on Dec 9, 2011 19:05:36 GMT -5
Thanks for your interest in our K98 builds. Our builds are made with real steal parts. The only part of the gun that's not is the receiver. The price ranges depending on the parts used. Prices start at 750.00 for our bottom line made from the D-boy and run as high as 1300.00 for the 700 fps sniper. Or for 250.00 you buy the parts we will assemble the gun for you. All the guns are made as close as possible to the real steal. It has our own extended receiver that places the receiver in the correct location. For proper bolt alignment. In our more expensive models we also create our own trigger for proper placement. All our guns come with a 3 year limited warranty. Sincerely Joshua Airsoft Corner Sales@airsoftcorner.com Www.airsoftcorner.comThats what theyre doing, I also Messaged them a out the 'Send in 2 Weapons" "As long as its the wood version of the D-boy." But YOure looking into 150 For a Wood Stock Dboys K98 100-150 (Depending where you find It.) Bar10 250 For their Conversion 20 For all this shipping. Probably 500-700 Total.

Hi Bert. I was reading the negativity and I gotta say. This is one of the sweetest MG42's I have seen offered. You did a fine job and I will be looking at your other offers with a great deal of interest. Thanks for helping keeping WW2 airsoft guns avaliable....and please keep up the good work.

Just curious - is this company still in operation? Every attempt to contact via email has met with failure, with all being returned.
