Supercharged Suburban.... awsome in an overkill kinda way. Sounds like it would make a really great tow rig for whatever you have to tow. Or just go to the store and back really fast.

Last year my mom went with me to a yard sale. She found this mining claim book/cookbook/scrapbook. I think she paid like $5 for it. I wouldn't have ever noticed it. Once we got it home we found the front page of a newspaper folded up inside of it: Next to a wartime cookbook. You can see they just glued newspaper recipes over the mining claims. Not pennies... ration coins. My dad got this at a yard sale for free. Cool little 2 stroke field generator. It's got a little tool kit and a canvas cover. Came with the manual and everything.

My SSRoom blank-fire only MP40. It's nearly a pound heavier than a real one due to the blankfire gas system, but it is full-auto and has no legal restrictions. ;D ;D I'll be carrying it at an event this weekend.

That's very cool ripper. Is that the company in Tennessee, I think, that makes them? Over 2 grand, right? I've seen them advertised and they would be great at either a blank fire or an airsoft event. I know the milsim guys in WA intersperse some blank fire weapons into the airsoft games to add realism and help the immersion.
Very Nice Addition. I'm jealous... well, I'm always jealous...

This one is made in Ohio. SSRoom recently changed their name to Military Precision, but it's the same company. I do have a semi-auto MG-34 that is made by TNW in Tennesee. We had them both out for test runs today. The MP-40 ran like a raped ape, but the MG-34 continues to be a disapointment. I'm using the two piece blank-fire barrel that is meant to be used unrestricted and I can't get more than a 10 round string fired off before I get either a failure to extract, or a short stroke that won't cock the semi-auto sear. Even with hot loaded blanks that are designed for MG's, it is still balky. I need to put the real steel barrel back in it and run a couple hundred ball rounds though it to loosen it up. I bought it new in 2002 and it had never been fired till I decided to use it in BF reenactments. Oh well, I'll be carrying the MP40 this weekend and leaving a 98K in the truck for when I run out of subgun ammo. The cyclic rate on the BF MP40 is around 600 RPM so it's a bit faster than a real steel.

Cool I almost bought one of the SS Room ppsh's a while back, then I got in two car accidents. We have a guy in our unit who has one of those semi MG34 aswell. It runs good sometimes but other times its just a pile.
How long did you wait for the MP40? Its the one that uses the 9.3 cal blanks correct?

Normal wait time is 90-120 days for a new SSR gun, but I bought this one off GunBroker. It came with 7 mags and 200 blanks. I hate to wait for anything and the 'buy it now' button was just too good to pass up. ;D

Taiwan info booklet for US military personnel 1958 Parachute badge for Taiwan paratroopers 1949 - mid 1950s Taiwan flag, probably used by a government entity. This flag is older as the sun is not white, but turned a bit light tan color due to age.

I just got this and it cleaned up real well. I'm talking about the pioneer shovel which is slated to go on a vehicle. It is dated 1943 and has a manufacturer name of REX (that this REX designation refers to the manufacturer is a total guess) and also sports a nice waffenampt below the date. The background is the new floor mat for the 41' Ford. I searched high and low for a vehicle shovel and this will have to do.

M1 Bayonet, fair, $50 Mint original M1936 suspenders, $10 Danish wire cutters (adequate for filler in a pouch), 5$ 2x Mint Carbine pouches, no US stamp, $20 Not too bad for a tiny gunshow in Denmark EDIT: I saw a few M1905 bayonets, but they were mint and thus priced at around $400 A little beyond my budget!

Those two carbine pouches are probably USMC made. Check the back of them and see what the markings read.

This is my new AGM Mp-40 that came with 7 magazines for $120 shipped. I weathered the gun and painted the fake bake on it as well. TommyGunner

Well, today i picked up quite an interesting piece today. today i bought a US M8 Scabbard for 20 dollars at a surplus store but it has been strangely repainted. The scabbard body itself is painted black, and there is a white 5 on the front of it. Do you think this could possibly be a navy item? they tended to repaint all of there gear. and do you think it would be good to strip off this black paint and repaint it olive drab or is it in someway valuable? Anyone that can get me information on this scabbard it would be greatly appreciated. thanks brady says US M8 BMCO Black paint and a 5. just another picture. thanks Brady

I got about a week ago the Time D-Day Magazine. I must say it is filled with pictures and more pictures, lots of historical information inside. It has colorful maps and it has alot of neat things that are just interesting too read. It even has a B17 drawing and it shows you the inside of the bomber. It's the re-issue of the 2004 edition though.

My parents saw it on history or TLC or something and thought it was super cool. My mom actually found it on Ebay a few days later and gave it it my dad as a birthday present (dad is a hardcore fishermen). It is complete and in really good shape for how old it is.
