Operation Bagration (1944): Another increasingly "awesomer" MOA battle royale in Big Lake!
Basics:
Saturday June 19th and Sunday June 20th
22615 County Road 75, Big Lake, MN 55309.
$25 field fee (vehicle owners get two field fees waived)
BBs will be available for sale, PM Garrick Prior to the game if you're planning on buying bbs onsite.
Soviet, German Military and Partisan Impressions ONLY.
We never get any Americans anyhow...so they can officially wait in the staging area in England ;) (or go partisan).

Lodging and Accommodations:
Period Camping is encouraged and will be accommodated.
Water will be provided on field.
A modest breakfast will be provided on Sunday morning including bacon as opposed to Wehrmacht horse...if you're lucky :;):

Schedule:
Saturday:
Arrival from 11 AM on
Chrono opens 12:30 PM
Safety briefing 1:30 PM
Afternoon action 2-6 PM
Dinner break 6-8 PM
Late night action 8 PM-midnight
Sunday:
Morning action 9-noon

Commanders:
Soviet - Lev Polyakov
German - Garrick Udet

Scenarios:
All pertinent information will be passed down the chain of command on a need to know basis. The greatly enhanced trench system will feature prominently in the Saturday evening/night game.

Safety Equipment:
All players required to have ANSI rated wrap-around glasses or full-seal goggles on at all times within the playing area. All airsoft guns must be mag-free in the staging area.

Weapons Rules and Restrictions:
1. Non-period AEGs are not allowed.
2. Partisans will be allowed to use non-period springer and gas guns, rifles will need to be burlap wrapped if deemed too offensive by event organizers.
3. Hard 400 fps limit for automatic fire.
4. 500 fps ceiling for all guns - all guns shooting over 400 fps will have a 50 foot minimum engagement distance.
5. All of Wolfgang's Uberwaffen (or soviet equivalents) are allowed and encouraged; Gryphon is welcome to bring any trick he has up his Bolshevik sleeves (although cotton T-34s cannot traverse trenches). All others bringing new special weapons will be allowed to use them upon event organizer approval.
6. There will be no scenario based restrictions on special weapons use. So if you have a mortar, anti-tank gun, grenades, smoke, flares, mines etc. Bring lots of them - it is up to the user to ration these to last through 11 hours of game time. We want this game to be crazy fun, so bring all your cool toys.

If it has tracks or wheels, I can hit it with the PAK
If you aren't going to take the effort to check your spelling, I also won't expect you to take the effort to be offended when I mock your poor spelling. You see that little red line... that means you messed up.

Yummy! June is going to be tasty. Two events. :) First Brecourt and now an MOA spectacular. Can't wait to see the trench improvements. They were already super nice - what did Travis do? Hmmm?

For our part, a new debut is planned. Heh-heh.

The Trench System now has better bridges over the top in some places as well as new spur trenches that lead to the stand of pine trees. This creates some nifty three-way intersections with crossfire. There are also some new bunkers on the hilltop the Germans defended last spring and more foxholes pretty much everywhere.

Nice Graphic! It is very cool.

The only thing "awesomer" than Operation Bagration is the graphic for Operation Bagration. ;)

So true. We've got to get started on a maxim project. A shielded MG could be a terror on the airsoft front.

Hah! Well I just played my second game out at the Big Lake field in the last month. I'm starting to feel like I am really getting a feel for the lay of the land... With Dieter and I on the side of the Huns we may have home field advantage :P

Red Leader, it's easy to put a partisan's impression together. Still try and make it out if you can. We just never got enough Americans to justify mucking up the "purity" of an Ostfront themed event. Nothing personal at all.
