If you have seen and have pictures, or have information, on a weird WWII weapon, please post it here.

The bottom vehicle is a Belgian T-13 B3 , it was a tank destroyer and they were armed with a 47 mm gun on a fully rotating turret.

, they cool thing about the ADGZ is that it didn't need to turn around to go back , it had two drivers , one on front and one on the back . Thats far from unique with German armoured cars (and in fact 30s design philosophy of recce vehicles). The whole 234 series (and most 'achtrad' cars) had two drivers places (front and rear) and several reverse gears to get out of positions quickly, usually the radio operator was the second driver. In British vehicles the drivers seat was sometimes at 45 degrees to the front so that you could drive in reverse by looking over your shoulder (daimler dingo).

Yeah but i think Guinmess' point is that folding wings may have been the norm for the Stuka, hence not really unusual?

lol, no, way less intelligent than that I'm afraid... When I read "Graf Zeppelin" my mind stopped on 'zeppelin' and didn't go any further- I immediately thought of the Macon, the U.S. rigid Airship that also carried aircraft onboard.... and I never would have known what the heck "Flugzeugträger" meant! so....nevermind

It was called the Landkreuzer P1000 'Ratte' , a 1000 Ton super heavy Panzer that Hitler and Krupp came up with after a 1941 strategic study of Soviet heavy tanks conducted by Krupp . German Minister of Armaments, Albert Speer cancelled the project in 1943. The Landkreuzer was to be powered by eight Daimler marine engines , developed to produce a total 16,000 hp each and armed with a Kreigsmarine turret with two 28cm SchiffsKanone C/28 with a range of 26 miles.

My neighbor across the street fought on the USS Medusa, a small repair ship, and first worked in the engine room , worked with the milling machines, operated the main gun, then was moved to the 40mm. He told me the Japs where crazy , he said you didn't want to wing the planes, you wanted to blow them up or they would dive into your ship. He saw a suicide bomber just like that.
