I have an ICS M3 so i would need gear from around that time or later but what would you need for a engineer/sapper kit?I don't care what unit but i prefer Army instead of being a Seabee since i have other plans for a Marine loadout. What I have currently(I just improved the brick and wires to look like some sort of explosive, not keeping obviously). oi46.tinypic.com/c3x8o.jpgMostly mix and match,I was to lazy to put on pants so thats why it's waist up.[The"chi-com" is supposed to be for explosives, the messenger bag for mags, bb's etc.]

I portray a combat engineer (demolition man) for the 1st Infantry Division. The website below is, without a doubt, an treasure trove of information. Click around the links...they've got everything from gear needed, to command and squad structure, to historical information. It's absolutely fantastic. 105th ENGINEER COMBAT BATTALIONBriefly, it's important to note (and if you click through the "basic gear" portion of the website above, you'll see this) that a U.S. combat engineer in WWII looked almost exactly the same as a infantryman. Same uniform, same weapons, same basic gear. In fact, though I decided I wanted to portray a combat engineer from the get go, the first thing I strove for was a full infantry kit. From there, you can add the various engineer items (demolitions, wire cutters, etc).
