This poll is mainly to find out exactly what North Eastern Players want from an event. I know I am new to the event director scene but I am sure that not even the most veteran director can figure out exactly what will cause people to attend an event or what will turn them away. I thought that a poll would be the best way to find out exactly waht I need to know to accomidate as many players as possible for future events. If you have any comments on the poll data or anything else you would like to add that is not in the poll, please feel free to add them.
You may choose any of the answers that apply to you, but PLEASE ONLY SELECT THE ANSWERS THAT HAVE A COLON ( : ) IN FRONT OF THEM. Several of the answers are only questions and the latter answers have their response.

Read your questions again, as many are quite awkward and even contradictory in terms of their wording. For example: Do you mind...as compared with. Are you willing and able to...

Absolutely, i jsut basically want to know what people want from an event and what they are and are not willing to do. Sorry for any fancy word play, i wasn't trying to beat around the bush, just trying to fit each Q&A into the slot provided for the poll. They certainly don't fit much!

I find it hard to choose many answers. I like, and would think that most people like variety. It doesnt really matter to me if an event is big or small. Authenticity is great, but if you were to plan a recruitment game, I would attend. I dont care if there are vehicles there or not, though if there is, I dont really want to see a golfcart painted like a Tiger. A little too farb for me.
For me there are only a few key things I want to see.
Variety in fields. Variety in scenarios. The 5 P's (Proper Planning Prevents P%sspoor Performance). Meaning I want a well planned event. And I would love to see the event flow more smoothly. We seem to have more downtime, than playtime. For a one day event, I would love to see the game start at 9 and go right through to whenever quitting time is. Tactical lunches people, learn to love them!
Other than that, I am fairly easy to please. Just give me a good event with plenty of people to shoot.

I like battles with absolutley no off time. As soon as I lace up and put that helmet on my head I want action. It adds suspense and an uncertainty to everyhting "should I take a drink now or should I wait?" that sort of stuff. But as with anyting planning is paramount.

Seeing ww2 vehicles involved would be awesome, I would totally pay more to see some jeeps or motorcycles at an event.
