So i bought a fixed bail helmet and a beat up liner at Fig last month with intentions to take hem home and restore them. I sadly don't have any before pictures (they got wiped from my phone), but here is the finished product. How do you guys think I did? The helmet is a schlueter fixed bail, and the liner is a westinghouse. It is webbed with a J. Murray rayon webbing set, and a Normadie Accessories sweatband. I am absolutely amazed at the quality of both products. The shell looks very well done, and I particularly like how the liner came out. I have restored shells before, but never liners as they seemed too finicky (that, and I have a steady supply of 35 dollar WWII liners).

newcommer, honestly restoring the webbing was easy, it only took half an hour or so it you have the rivet tool, there isnt much to it. and dang, where do you have a stead stream of them like that?

happen to live near a old old surplus store with an very old inventory. As for the webbing, if it wasn't THAT finicky to work with I might give it a go.
