I like ebb, I wonder if they used a heavier gauge of wire instead of a cloths hanger...

That's awesome, I wonder if they're clones of something else or an original design.

I have a feeling that King Arms got someone from Zeta Labs to work for them.

And they say they havn't decided on a mech type yet! They asked on facebook what ppl want, aeg gas or co2. Most posts lean toward aeg!
Typical manufacturers taking up the same projects as me!

Soo.. Buy a cheapo CYMA or a Marushin CDX. The plastic stock version is very cheap.

The two year estimate is a good one (if ever). This type of news release is speculative at best. Remember nearly three years ago when we first saw photos and posts about the ICS and GnG Garand AEGs and the ICS just recently came out and the GnG is still vaporware. Due by all means provide supportive feedback to KING ARMS (especially for a non bayonet lug, AEG version.). i know thats what i would want to see them build.

Not to ruffle any bodies feathers but uh, KA is making rails for their carbine. While it might not be ww2 like they are stil making a carbine so lets be happy that they're making a carbine and the rail is an accessory.

Old thread but an update, King Arms says the Carbine will be CO2. I presume a clone of a Marushin.

I guess they were too lazy to create a new gearbox design. However, I bet they are aware of the AEP performance deficiencies.

So?Can't they just make a good AEP to break the "mold" as they say? At the very least, green gas would make the mags skinnier so they can actually fit in the pouches.

Actually, the mag shown is definitely gas (CO2 insert at the base). I think what they are suggesting is it will use one of their AEG inner barrels. Obviously I hope I am wrong and it is in fact an AEG. Even if only AEP power it would be fine ( as it is a carbine). There are some AEPs that perform quite well so clearly it is possible.
Now that my Marushin CO2 carbine crapped out I have completely lost faith in any gas airsoft gun with the possible exception of bolt action gas guns. sadly most of them seem to be eating their young fairly early in the ownership experience.

The KA is a co2 because apparently people chose that over aeg or gas. I belive it is going to use a standard aeg barrel though perhaps to make it less proprietary? What broke on your marushin if you don't mind me asking?

The pock metal charging handle just like their GBB Garand. Part 45. No RAMBO abuse, drops or load damage. I was being quite careful with it and babied it knowing it was GBB and they are persnikety. It just broke while firing normally. Not super fast, not frigid cold out, nothing extraordinary at ll.
Gas Blow Backs are just not durable. Period, dot, cross.

Name a GBB rifle that is the durable? the closest I am aware of is the WE M14 and it is marginal at best. Any others that work consistently, predictably and over thousands of rounds? I haven't seen one yet.

Concur - my WE M14 and M14EBR have held up very well thus far. As have my GHK '47 AKM. Also a WA M16VN has been faithful - but that came loaded with steel aftermarket parts.
My Marushen guns have ALL crapped out with very little use. Kind of a expensive joke.

That has definitely been my experience. I had high hopes for this Marushin CO2 carbine and should have known better. Epic fails so far for GBB guns. Hudson Grease gun. Marushin M1 Garands (two of them). M1 carbine 8mm, m1 carbine gas non blowback (excellent gun) m1 carbine 6mm blow back (never did work right) and my Marushin M1 CO2. Never again! never again.
