I own an ICS M1 Garand and I was wondering, what would be the best bandoleer or ammo pouch for the magazines?

The ICS mags don't fit in the standard cartridge belt? I would suggest maybe you could get a BAR mag belt. It wouldn't be textbook correct, but it would be plausible that a GI could have salvaged a BAR belt to carry M1 clips in. Or wear the cartridge belt for looks and carry the clips in a spare ammunition bag: hikishop.com/wwii-us-army-spare-magazine-bag-top-quality-repro-p-168.html

I wouldnt go for that ammo bag, looks too much like a thompson mag bag. Go for a GP ammo bag like this: www.emcmilitaria.com/M1_Ammo_Bag_p/emc2e59.htm Its out of order at emc militaria, but that bag type would be most accurate. Also, does the bottom plate of the ICS mags slide off? Then you could just take the plates off and fit them in the belt.

Pistol belt and rigger pouches, especially if you're doing an NCO or Airborne impression.

The base plate on the ICS clips are fixed and don't come off.. The ICS clips do slide into and out of the bandoleers but not without some effort. Trouser and tunic pockets and a gas mask bag or GP bag seems to be the best bet for a GI impression and riggers pouches indeed work great.
