Just getting into WWII airsofting, and I ordered some Russian kit from Trident Militaria (http://www.tridentmilitary.com/). Unfortunately it's been two weeks, no "shipped" message, no response to emails, no answering the phone and no returning voicemail.
Does this shop have a bad rap for crappy customer service/not delivering? Thankfully I paid with my CC so I can always file a claim but I'd prefer not to.
I had the same issue with them a while back when I ordered some boots from them. I did eventually get the boots, however. I would also recommend Hikishop for Russian uniforms. I recently bought a uniform from them and was very much pleased with it.
I don't believe Hikishop has Russian boots, just uniform items and gear. If they do I cannot vouch for them as I ordered my boots from Trident. Many of the guys in my reenacting group that do Russian either go East German Jackboots or buy surplus Russian jackboots. Another approach could be to get American US GI lowboots with puttees. The Americans sent the Russians a large quantity of footwear as "lend lease" and I know there are quality US GI reproductions available. I'm not sure where Russian lowboots can be found.

I ordered a handful of W-SS patches from them once i took them three weeks to arrive an the communication was poor, not to mention when i received the items some things wernt included in the packaged when it arrived although it all got sorted out eventually but they took forever too ship and there fowl up on the order had me waiting a total of a month to all of the insignia i had ordered
I had to start a dispute with VISA over this transaction; left three more voicemails with Trident, the last informing them I was calling VISA today and have not heard anything from them. Will update once this is taken care of.
I've also recently made an order with them (little over two weeks ago), have heard nothing from them. I've heard in the past the only good way to order from them is to use their ebay store. I will also update when I hear from them
Dracul: It looks like it lost a lot of steam and I now feel bad for randomly dropping off.

stuka: I mean it's not your fault. It is interesting though that things are falling off as we are finally getting our ww2 guns with the type 38/96 and the enfield as well as it recieving a new loading system, it's kind of unfortunate

Dracul: I don't know, maybe its because all the guns are becoming available, there is a decreasing need for the forums.

Dracul: Most of the talk was about making guns, as all the uniform info was already out there, but now the weapons are out there and are usually decent quality.

stuka: well the forum is and should still be useful for updates on guns, creating groups/events and building kits

Cpl. Hicks: I haven't been here in years, but I'm glad to see this forum is still kicking! So much great info on here.

savoy6: anyone know if anyone still carries the enfield?

Dracul: I think Redwolf has a Enfield. If not or not longer, then not until G&G releases theirs. The old gas Iron Airsoft brand SMLE isn't carried by anyone anymore and was such piece of crap. Not worth trying to track one down.
