I would like to see it, sounds like a great mod. Since I have a period rucksack it would be easy to carry something like that. Can you disconnect it easily if you have to put your gun down?

Yup! The nipple in the mag is one way, so gas can go in that way but not out. And the remote line has a valve that allows the line to remain pressurized after it is detached

yup, thats it, PPS is the company that makes the Tanaka clone. That is a great price for the mags. As I posted earlier, the Tanaka mags cost twice as much. Here is a nice scope that PPS is supposed to be making for it. It looks like they are trying to copy the ZF39. Looks alot cooler thant the one Tanaka makes. blog.airsoftcommunity.de/pps-pictures-k98-scope

$36.00 for a gas magazine is great. The low capacity of gas mags has always been a plus from an authenticity perspective but the high cost is just a killer. Hopefully these are durable and reliable.

Im curious to see how one of these gas guns performs in the cold. I hope someone brings theirs to the Bulge. Id like to try one out. Im sure its a great gun most times of the year, and for the price you cant really go wrong. now that Stuka found those cheap mags its even better.

After reading about this on the UK forum, it appears to have adjustable power. Remove a screw, then tighten or loosen another one in the bolt to make it shoot harder or softer. Yet another good bit about this gun.

Just a thought but during cold weather assuming you are going to use a remote and tank you should be able to just use HPA which does not vary in cold weather at all.

What do you mean, exactly? The screw controls gas flow, which controls the power. By adjusting the screw, you can increase or decrease the power to the level needed.

I recently discovered the adjustment screw on mine. It's actually inside the feeding nozzle, easy to access with a thin flathead screwdriver

The fps range attainable with the adjustment screw seems very large. I would imagine you could easily pick a fps between 300-500+ just by testing on a crono.

So I went ahead an bought a used redfire kar98 off a friend for $110. It needs some work but you can't hear the price. I have not test fired it yet, but my friend did and he says the BBs drop at about 50 feet..anyone of you more knowledgeable about airsoft guns have a diagnosis for me? Is it a nozzle problem? What would fix it? I will update once I have test fired it myself and ask questions if more arise. Thanks all!

The o rings and gaskets throughout the gun should be checked thoroughly then adjustment screw in the bolt would be the next thing I would fiddle with. The next thing would be to check out the hop up. Good luck with it. If nothing else at $110.00 it will be a nice prop or base donor for a VSR conversion.
