Alright, I wanted to do a Peleliu kit but I have 2 Khaki M1 and canteen pouches, and my belt and suspenders are OD#3 from ATF. For a Peleliu kit (Squad leader (MG)) should I replace the Khaki with the correct OD#3 and 7, or stick with Khaki?

Just keep it "as is", I think. Stuff fade and age at different rates so when looking at real deal web gear items some are pure OD#3, some are OD#3 with more green or brown, some are pure OD#7 and some stuff is faded to a "khaki" shade.

That's why I wanted to buy from ATF, they have awesome replica gear. "There was no Khaki equipment used in the Pacific war, only OD#3 and OD#7"

Od#3 varied considerably, with some being a baby-poop green, some being a dark tan, and some being a golden brown.

Poop greenish brown suspenders and pistol belt, 2 Khaki canteen pouches, Ka Bar, and 2 dark Khaki/tan M1 Carbine pouches. Is that fine for a Peleliu impression?

Shifty brings up a good point; alot of web gear was manufactured by different companies so there was a huge variety in color. OD#3 is, generally, a golden brownish-tan with a teeny hint of green, but when faded it can get VERY khaki-ish (almost white in some cases). So yeah, the stuff you have now would work in my book.

Indeed! Although it's not webgear, I have an A2 aircraft mechanic's cap that was originally OD3, but since I have worn it so much, it is now practically an off white with a slight greenish tanish tint.

Well if the real OD#3 can fade to Khaki then I want to get that because I put my gear through absolute hell in airsoft and reenactment.
