I'm looking to get a Zippo for my impression. I have seen that Zippo makes a replica of they're 1941 model. Is that the one I need? I don't want to use a regular Wrong modern one, but I also don't have the funds for an original. Thanks in advance for your help.

Unless you go to a die hard reenactment I don't think anyone is going to hound you for having a modern Zippo... Also, I really don't see the reason for you asking us for help. If you don't have the funds for one then you probably aren't going to get one using said funds.

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. What i'm asking is, is the 1941 Zippo replica correct for WW2?
Thanks, Kilroy

It is mostly. I have both the replica zippo with the black crackle finish, and an original with black crackle. The replica is made with stamping a of much thinner thickness and the barrel is of slightly different dimension. I really think the only thing they did was take a modern zippo, and change the outer body a bit to replicate the ww2 type. I did manage to find my original zippo on ebay for about $20. If you can hunt for them and only bid up to a certain price, you will find one within your budget eventually.

Could also go with their 1935 remake
