Ok, I stole this idea off of huxy to create a blog for my upcoming short film. I've got some information down right now and still need to type up the screenplay.
Go Get ‘Em-WWII Short
Characters
American Soldiers
Tom: Jack: Brandon (Squad Leader): Jerry: Christopher:
German Soldiers
Rudolf: Joseph Winmill (that’s me!) Wilhelm: Erwin: Karl: Helmut:
Synopsis A squad of American GIs ambushes a squad of retreating Germans. The outcome is costlier than they thought.
Run Down A group of GIs are sitting around a campfire having a rest, and a couple guys play cards. They have friendly conversation. One of them spots a group of Germans and warns the others. The squad leader is a little trigger happy and decides to ambush the Germans. They find the Germans whose guard is significantly lowered. They ambush them and a firefight ensues that result in the confirmed deaths of three and one wounded for the GIs and 2 confirmed deaths and one assumed death for the Germans. There will be a mix of comedy, and a bit of drama.
I decided since my last movie was a more touchy-feely movie (not a bad thing) that this one would have more action; this does not at all eliminate human elements on both the sides of the Americans and Germans. I’ll be typing up the script shortly, I already have a draft.
Also, please help me with advice for what you guys think would work well for my film. Thanks guys! I'll be updating frequently.

Lol Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk I know, the English is understandably off :DThe only part I didn't get is why would you chase two Germans in a wooded area where you risk running into an ambush. It just a short film so its all good fun!

Alright guys, so you guys may be asking (you probably aren't actually ) "where are the updates for Joe's film? This is going to be so friggin' amazing and he's leaving us hanging!" Well boys and girls, I have been working on another project (I planned to complete the project I'm working on now before starting the WWII film this whole time), and this project is a modern action film, so that really wouldn't be appropriate to have on this forum. Just letting you know guys. My film will be done. Thanks! Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

Oo, also, I've been trying to get a castle (a castle in the middle of CA? ) to film at next year. And I actually found a few. I sent off a letter for permission to use the castle, and will update when I get a letter in response. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
