So, I ask this as I might (surprisingly) soon have the money for a shoei MP44. Thus, my question is- are they worth the money? I have heard and seen many images and videos of these mystical lollipops s, and how awesome they are. However, Gordak is gone, so I have yet to hear how they actually are in the field. Worth it?

The word "b e a s t" I guess has been overused, so the administrators decided to have some fun. As for the shoei mp44, if you can afford it, buy it! It doesn't have out of the box skirmish ability issues like the mg42, though it will be heavy (11 lbs + air rig) and mags will add up quickly. But if you have $2000, I'd say go for it.

Apparently AGM mags work with it, although not vice versa. I'm just trying to make sure they hold up well.

Provided you don't run it at 200 psi or anything, it will hold up just fine. By the way, where did you find them for sale?

I know a place that has 1 left from their 2012 run. Also, its not too hard to find them at the used market.

Does anybody here actually own one of these to give a report on them?
