In "The Longest Day" John Wayne's character injures his leg in the drop and there's a scene where they're wheeling him around on a cart of some sort. Been a long time since I've seen that movie. I wonder if this is what is was supposed to be.

I wonder if this is what is was supposed to be. That one appears to be the more famous M3A4 handcart that was brought in on gliders.

The M9A2 paracart broken down into its basic units. This includes the folding axle. Break down took roughly 1 minute while putting it all back together again took slightly longer. All of these pieces are retained with pins.
