Isn't that the initial pre order price we paid when they were first out?

Its a tad under, with the original price being $150, but with how they perform (or don't), $144 is a great price to have all the 1903 pieces for you in one buy.

Hey, no worries. It could have been in stock when you posted. With how cheap they became, its pretty blatant why they flew off the shelves real fast. Hell, I would have ordered 2 myself. That's too legit to quit.

CYMA metal gear Thompson AEG for $79.00 is an excellent deal. Not that we need more Thompsons on the battlefields.

German "defect" lowboots on discount "These run the gamut from loose stitches on the uppers, to lots of missing hobnails, a broken hook or eyelet, or the half sole partially separating. Most issues are cosmetic, and all boots are wearable. All issues can be repaired by a competent cobbler." www.atthefrontshop.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=COLOWB

With a viable G43 kit close to be available (I hope) I looked at eBay pricing on G43 pouches. Real ones of course are quite spendy but reproductions in widely assorted quality appear to be quite reasonably priced. I saw one set (two pouches) priced at $14.95 shipped. Based on my research the intent was to issue each G43 riflemen two sets but due to the rifles late entry in the war at a time when Germany's logistics were a mess, an issue of one, two pouch set balanced with a three pouch Kar98 pouch set is frequently seen in pictures.

My plan was to homemade some of these but gosh at $15.00 each the production time and materials required just don't make sense.

Nice find. I bought a large batch of slings from Mantheline which am quite happy with for a similar price. One question I have is how to keep the end section more or less flush to the stock where it goes into the butt stock. They seem to want to stick out. In pictures on actual rifles they layflat. I have been tempted to glue them down!

As of right now there is a Marushin M1 Garand airsoft rifle together with a Thompson airsoft quasi M1928 for sale And up for bids. The package of the two of them is at $146.00 and $20.00 shipping. Neither have clips/ magazine and the seller claims to not know if either works or not? Assume they don't and bid accordingly. Who knows maybe you can get a desperately needed part and can bust out of them by selling them as prop guns. Keep your bids below a Denix replica ($225.00 or so) and this might work for someone. Hopefully they won't escalate too much above where they are now? Just one picture so hard to see much regarding condition or what the Thompson is.

I needed a bunch of first aid pouches for my 12 plus US web gear set ups as we hold our "wound card indicators and "bandages" there for use during events. I decided it would be nice if it was uniformly the same for all US players. I needed at least seven of them. I was shocked what they want for these pouches (especially originals). Reproductions add up pretty quickly when you get a bunch of them especially when you factor in shipping.
I found a seller on eBay that offered a packet of 10 for $35.99 shipped. They took about a month to get here. (No real surprise although in the past I've had the free shipping from China get here in less than a week). The items were a bit disappointing. The canvas is OD rather than the Khaki shown and I failed to notice they were belt looped rather than hooks. (That oversight is on me). The biggest number is that they are WAY oversized. 1/2 inch too wide and an inch too tall. The good news is the canvas is nice, they are well made and the snap hardware is nice.
With my surplus canvas I am going to size some correctly and essentially redo them while on others I am going to ADD canvas, enlarge them a bit and make riggers pouches out of them. My new found discovery on the effectiveness of fabric glue has inspired me. I have too many plain pistol belts and not enough Garand belts so I can turn a couple of them into Riggers Garand belts for Garand riflemen. The same sized riggers pouches were used for both carbine equipped paratroopers and M1 riflemen. Many actual riggers pouches I saw at the SPecial Operations Museum at Ft Bragg mixed Khaki and OD canvas in the same item. Transitional mixed shades was actually quite common on web gear made in 1943.
Due to the low cost of these pouches I am okay with them being off. Will still need to find a deal on some first aid pouches (the hooked type in Khaki)

This is essentially what I did for my US kits. Garand belts were too expensive to buy en masse. So I found a bunch of used pistol belts (probably some M56 ones) for $7 each and gave them all a rigger pouch or two, which I think were under $10 each as well. Saved a whole lot of money right there.

Wow! That's too good to pass up! I noticed the S&T Springfield at $187.00 and the Grease Gun at $160. It wasn't too long ago to have a US weapon (that worked) other than a Thompson was $500.00 to 1,200.00!
This is awesome! Hopefully spare magazines will follow shortly!

I'd still be worrysome about the S&T Springfields, as QC/QA problems have been rampant.... However, $187 is a more fair price if you want all the parts you want in one go for a VSR conversion. I wish they were kept at $150, which is definitely the more fair price for it.
Really resisting the temptation on that Garand... If only they made a plastic stock version of it, wondering how much it would go down in price.

I would think a faux wood, plastic stocked version of all of our WW2 classic rifles would bring them down $50.00 to $75.00 or so?

Mg42 bone yard - half price for someone looking for some projects. www.evike.com/products/52099/finally evike heard my request and are informing before payment that they are not servicing some countries. At least one would not waste money in exchange fees anymore. I appreciate!

Those Swedish tunics look quite good in my opinion and large sizes. Wish I'd seen those before the route I took. With some cosmetic treatment they could be made to look quite passable under web gear and dirt and grime.

Converted Swedish tunics have been used time and time again by Hollywood and other film studios for German tunics, and for this price, these are a steal.

Migs is offering his lightly used ICS Garand for a bargain deal with a huge batch of spare clips (if it's still available). If I wasn't already swimming in Garands (I have five and an S&T on pre order) I'd jump on that. Look for his post in the impressions marketplace section.

I actually just sold it to ShiftysGarand here on the boards. I had it up on Ebay, but he contacted me and I took it down (with a bid on it) and sold it to him. Best to keep it in the family. migs
