Nice review. My brother recently bought one of these for his paratrooper impression, and one of the sweatband clips had popped off of the webbing surrounding the sweatband. No big deal to put it back on, but I'll be keeping an eye on the clips.

Very helpful as like you said we lack detailed reviews on many of the essential items for allied impressions.

Those liners are definitely a weak area. I've used a few and while they work, they do require some tweaking.
The tight fit in the shell is an unfortunate drawback and needs to be addressed by the manufacturer.

I hope they don't use the same liners as their economy helmets. I have had wayyyyy too many problems with those liners and clips.

The actual leather headbands and clips are still occassionally around in surplus stores as new old stock for around $5.00 or less.
