Hinka, The Cap you are wearing has SS insignia on it, but your Panzer Wrap is of regular Army cut with regular army insignia. But I bet you already knew that.

Go4broke. That is a VERY impressive set-up you have there. Excellent impression!!! Careful though, you are vastly outnumbered by all the USMC re-enactors around here. ;D

Go4Broke, WOW! You look good and I mean REALLY good! If you were caucasan like us of European decent it wouldn't have the same effect. Well done! Best Japanese impression I have EVER seen. Put those pics in the Stich Knot-See thread! The Samuri sword is a nice touch.

Danny, AWESOME! I'm guessing that's a standard issue Japanese Imperial Army garden hose behind you as well. LOL Of course! What better to water the cherry blossoms of our Imperial Land of Yamato, whose utter beauty makes our enemies, the capitalist Yankee dogs weep with? ...that and I hate your everseeing farb detecting eyes, Jack! Thanks for all the comments guys! Yeah I just got my IJA kit over the weekend from a friend, and just had to go out and take some pictures, albeit in the yard. Now I just gotta wait for that Tanaka Type 99, and I'll be golden. BTW that sword is my family's original IJA NCO sword, that my great-grandma, er smuggled into the US after the war, lol. And yes, Shutze and I will rule the world, after we take care of certain nuisances...

Well a couple quick pokes from his samuri sword and he can take care of your farb detecting eyes. Then he can scratch one item of his nuisance list.
I don't think it will hurt much.......

Nice to see the excellent reminder that the axis included forces other then Germany. Great job!

Dru, looking good! I like the idea of an Italy impression as you know. The only thing I would change (and it really inst much of a change) I would recomend you bent the bill of your hat. The straitness of it now makes it look like you are a new recruit and you would be more likely to have a tropical stuff if you were an Afrcia vet. Other than that all you need to do is get dirty and you got it made. Again, well done!

The hat is actually pretty new, but the tunic has layers of dirt on it. I don't want to bend the bill because it supposed to protect the face and eyes from the sun bending it would let the sun hit my eyes. I do put it in my gas mask can during play, so it gets a little bent that way. I don't like the look of the bill when its broken down the middle.

Jager.Drü Great! Remember, your not supposed to bend the bill but obviosly it did happen, and you do look more vetran, if you did it, I ike to wear my hats and let the bill bend naturally. But thats just me. My suggestion is, Take the pictures outside! It would look awesome in the bright Italain sun! -Gordak

Although you can't see it in the photo, the helmet has been 'aged' by me Next job is to scratch at the emblems so that the basic idea is still there but they don't stick out so much. Thanks for the comments Regards 'shokt

Click, Sorry bad English on my part, it was in response to Flectarns post. What I meant was, that in my post in the picture thread the helmet appears all shiney & new.
Yes it is a Chinese copy, cost me £40 on ebay (approx $80)
Thanks for the comments 'shokt
