I just arrived and found another player (Anthony) here waiting. The gate nearest the road is locked preventing us from unloading anywhere near the camping area.

Man, this hotel feels great! I got plenty of floor space for at least two more, if anyone else is interested in sleeping in an actual structure.

So, my little AAR report. I'm sure there is a lot more others have to say and will be in much better detail about it.
The Field: It was pretty awesome. Not WWII-esque, but definitely big and well planned out, and great for games. A good mix of elevation, bunkers, ambush positions, they tried with the "town" area, the "forts" were also convincing with tunnels. Only thing I have to say, is that we could have used the field more, a lot of the time we started and respawned too close to each other, and there was just a lot of the field that we didn't get to experience.
The Players: I felt we had good sized teams. Everyone played honestly and acted being shot well. But we needed more rifles. There was too many SMGs and Machine Guns on both sides. In all fairness, that could be because guns were going down, like they normally did. I wanted to use one of Insterburger's Kar98s, but that developed problems, so I had to go back to my Zb26, that despite the butt plate hook breaking off earlier that morning, I knew it worked well.
The Impressions: Impressions were great! And we were able to adequately fit entire guys with loaner gear, and the personal kits looked really good on both sides. Glad that OMEGO liked my plastic helm!
Camping: Hah, hotel!
Anyway. It was all good and I had a great time, the games were great. Can't wait for the next one I can attend!

Had a really good time and hope to attend another event soon. Loved the dramatic deaths they were great hahah and taunting the Americans in German, also liked all the extra equipment lots and lots of extras just in case of anything. Definitely liked the field, too bad we didnt have more players but it was still a good time. Auf ein tausendjähriges reich!!
