Answered...Sort of. It's out, but I'd like an absolute confirmation of the materials used for the blowback assembly before I drop $500+ making this skirmishable.

I agree. I have sworn off any gas blowback rifles unless owners who skirmish regularly with them share positive remarks. I really like that they are offering the para version.

This is why KJW needs to make M1 Carbine based off there KC02. I know they would do great with that. I haven't heard anything bad about their KC02.

I would really like to have this gun, but the co2 shies me away from it. I own the Marushin co2 M1-carbine and it does perform well, but only in the right weather conditions. really not a good gun here in the NE as we play most of our games in cold weather.
I wish they would come out with an AEG M1-carbine (para or regular) that performs up to our standards. That I would buy right away.

I couldn't agree more Migs. The kJW being a non blowback is the key although weather still creates issues for gas guns even when they aren't blowback.

I own a Marushin Co2 Carbine and I love that rifle, it is my favorite gun to use right now. It does suck that you can only use it during the warmer months of the year. But I always enjoyed using my Co2 and Gas guns, I have a Co2 1911 and it is awesome. Co2 weapons rock! I like them over green gas weapons because they seem to pack a little more of a punch and Co2 seems to work a bit better in colder weather over green gas.
I am curious how the king arms versions stacks up to the Marushin.

I too had better, more consistent shots with my Gbb weapons when they were CO2 (until they broke of course). I loved the coolness of the blow back and the louder, more gun like report of a gas gun. If for me they had been more durable I would be an enthusiastic fan.

The King Arms I like much better than the Marushin. The Marushin feels flimsy. Basically KA cloned the Marushin and used better materials. I fielded my KA at a WWII tactical this past Sunday and it rocked! An encouraging report. Do you know specifically which materials were used in the blowback assembly and trigger system? If this gun holds up to skirmish use, I will be all over this.
