I could use some help from you, fellas! As you may (or may not know) I live in Chile (South America, to the left of Argentina) where the S/H Fees to get stuff down here is prohibitely expensive... But a sibling of mine is travelling for a couple of weeks to NY, and I´d like to seize the oportunity and purchase a S&T M1903 so she can bring it by hand to me. Thing is, I don´t have the foggiest Idea on how to purchase to an airsoft store in the NY area to get it sent to her hotel in NY (as I recall, airsoft is forbidden in the state of New York). Could someone help me with any ideas on how might I get the damn thing?
Thanks in advance...

airsoft isn't illegal in new york but you might have to have her buy it from online and shipped to her hotel. From there, I got no idea how one would ship internationally

The first challenge is even a well stocked airsoft store is unlikely to stock the S&T Springfield as its a fairly rare gun (in retail hands). The second challenge would be packing and hauling the item as international luggage. I know domestically transporting airsoft guns in you checked luggage is no big deal. (I have done it a lot) but was unable to do it in a flight to France for a reenactor event. First things first check with Chilean travel laws. Dracul has his ST rifle which he is selling so that might work. He lives in the NE.
