given the stage that the hortons were at in the ww2 time frame...i would say no...

Interesting design, but there's no way it could have gone into service during the war. The biggest problem with flying wings of the time, I think, was the controls. It really required computers to make the flying wing design, like the B-2, practical. That and the state of jet engine technology in the late '40's- early '50's. Still, a pretty neat looking design.
