This is consistently an outstanding event and is traditionally in the NE. This year it will be held in Vermont the weekend of the 12th to 14th of August.
Sign up for US Forces $65.00 or VC/NVA at 45.00. This is a very emmersive event with tentage, good command structure and excellent props. Limited loaner gear (especially for the VC/NVA are available.
I have gone to 3 of them (I put on the first one) and have enjoyed each one. Go to experience what a historical airsoft event is potentially like! Meet a lot of airsofters with interests in a different form of airsoft. Go as VC or Mike Force and use your WW2 weapons.

Hmm, I will be living in mass, a few hours away from this this summer. Maybe I can go...

Real tempting to go. Going to be a bust summer, I'll see if I could make this one.

The event is still on for the 12_14th of August but will be held at Orange Airport in Mass. See their Facebook page for updates. There are already 31 people enrolled with an additional 131 interested. I am hoping my road tour has me in the vicinity.

This is absolutely an event to sign up for. Either side is great fun. I have a preference for the NVA \ vC as the impression is easy and the sponsor has tons of loaner gear to enhance what you have. Also your WW2 weapons work perfectly for VC.
This event has a full military tentage set up for the US side and a dozen PRC radios. Vehicles and maybe even a static display Huey coming. Turnout is typically 70 to 100 guys.
Mercy will head the NVA / VC and is an excellent leader / instructor and tactician .
