These are actually Vietnam era and later but I will allow you to leave them as they are a piece of kit that (if they work) could support events. wW2 field phones were more rectangular and box like and were most often housed in leather. Late war they came in a heavy OD canvas.
One of the nice things about your field phones is they are powered by regular flash light batteries. Good luck with your offering. They are quite heavy as you know but having sold some myself, as I recall they just squeaze nicely in the US Post flat rate box.

Very nice field phones. I have a set myself, and they are indeed waterproof. I've accidentally gotten one soaked and it dried out and runs fine. Definitely one thing to jump on at this price!
Just so you all know, the proper field phone for US army in ww2 would be the EE-8a filed phone in the leather case. The EE-8b was the later war model in a OD-7 canvas case.
