As far as I am aware and if I remember well right now: receiver is made from aluminium, bolt and internals are pot metal, small parts - selectors etc., are steel, furniture is plastic.
On the other hand I am using my WE rifles for several years and although from time to time some small parts break, it’s a small “tax”for the gbb fun. Mine main M14 has well over 15,000 rounds behind on MAPP gas (stronger and more stable especially during colder weather), still runs great and my overall investments to spare parts would be around 30-40€.
And range and funwise there is no competition to gbb. I am really looking forward to add it to my Marine GAS only gun collection.
