Hi - cool looking indeed!
Interested for a similar approach = but I was wondering about a technical aspect = how did you run the air line? Are you going to use the regulated CO2 or plain HPA?

Plain HPA. Battery sits on top of the real steel mag. Air line goes through the pistol grip area, where I had an adapter go from 1/8 OD to 6mm OD. I like 6mm OD because it's standard for ALL my HPA systems, and then when the gun is stored on a wall, I could just leave it up without an unsightly line hanging out the bottom.

I also didn't want to bore out the stock for a wraith. The stock is much too precious to me

How does it shoot? Probably the only Wolverine Kar98 in the country! Nice!

I've had significant upgrades to it. The rubber is TruSight TruHop inside a PDI hop chamber for AEG barrels. I have two barrels I use: either a Prometheus 6.03 500mm for non-silencer, or a PDI 6.01 650mm with silencer. Both barrels perform pretty much the same, but I can dial back the PSI on the longer 6.01 and still achieve the same range (although I do give up some mobility). The wolverine bolt is an amazing system, so I can hit pretty much any FPS limit at any field by adjusting my regulator. At 200 PSI, I chrono'd a .20g up to 800 fps with the 500mm barrel. The 650 would probably push it to the 900 range - not that I would ever play it that hot. Nice to know I can, though. Here's the rifle again re-stained with some 'tacticool' attachments to it. Of course you can remove everything or put more era specific attachments, but I like the modern take on a classic rifle.

When I first started out in Airsoft, almost 20 years ago. The concept of a Airsoft sniper was more that of a forward observer. Guys would try to put a heavier spring in their rifle and the bolt handle would snap off as a result when they tried to pull it back. It was mainly there for show, and I bet they got more kills with their pistols.
HPA has changed all of that.
Nice rifle.

I owe an incredibly big thanks to 2ndBat. His help has been absolutely stellar in my journey to making custom rifles.
I have Gewehr 98 in the works. Hope I finish it in the next few months.

Since I hate carrying the HPA bottle - I am actually thinking to have some kind of stock pouch where I am hiding the CO2 bulb and regulator. Drilling a huge hole in the VZ24/G24 stock is out of the question as well. I just have difficulties finding a stock pouch that would pass for a WWII impression.

When I was a Ram4 dealer before I found Airsoft. Those M4’s used a small cylinder roughly the size of the buffer tube. www.blacktac.eu/en/telescopic-stock-88-grams-co2-for-t4e-sg68-shotgun.htmlIm sure you can still buy the tanks separately. Just drill out the wood stock and mount a female co2 coupler in far enough that the tank would screw in far enough to be almost flush with the butt stock.

You could also mount the Wolverine Wraith stock on the scope or hide it somewhere in a pouch like you've said. There are plenty of stock pouches or stock cheek riser pouches that can adequately hide it.
Personally, I always have an HPA tank on my back as nearly all my guns use air. It isn't quite as cumbersome if you route the air line through the sling.
