Hello Everyone,
I am not sure where to post this first off, so I apologize if it is in the wrong section. I just have a quick question, does anyone know the difference between the CAW Wood kit vs the CAW Wood kit Deluxe version. I am planning on upgrading my CYMA Thompson to feature the wood kit and the king arms metal lower receiver. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again!

Thanks for the link to the forum norseman! I definitely am going to spend the extra money and get the deluxe variant. Now to wait for it to come back in stock :/

interestingly over the years I have managed to find several Thompson walnut stock NOS at gun shows for super cheap prices. (typically 10 to $15.00!). They of course had to be hollowed out to accommodate the battery and dremeled some to facilitate the airsoft hardware but way cheaper (and nicer) than the CAW kit. Never have found the front grip but those were easy enough to make. Real wood furniture adds a lot to our replicas even though the plastic can be tweaked to pretty convincing look it's just not as nice!

Agreed. Even though the AK 1892 wood kits are piss yellow. I bought all four with wood. I prefer it to plastic.
