Without looking it up who knows the following?
1. Army equivalent for a Navy LT junior grade?
2. Navy equivalent for a Full Bird Col.
3. Army equivalent for a Lt. Commander?
4. An Ensign in the Navy would be a _______________ in the Army?
5 A Rear admiral would be a ____________ ____________?
6.An Army lt. Colonel would be a ___________________ in the Navy
7 What would an Army lt General be?
8 How about a Navy Lt.?

1. LT Junior Grade is equivalent to a First lieutenant 2. A Navy Captain is equivalent to Full Colonel 3. A Lieutenant Commander is equivalent to a Major. I'll leave the rest for some else except to say I think #7 is kind of a trick question. If I recall correctly the Navy uses the same name, Vice Admiral, for both a 2 star (Major General equivalent) and 3 star (Lt. General equivalent) admiral. I could be wrong.

Amazingly my entire time in the US Military I would not have been able to confidently answered 2/3rds of my own questions. Naval rank was a near total mystery to me. When getting my window sticker for my car so I could readily access military installations I wenas directed to the closest military installation which was a Naval base. The MPs (SPs) issued me my Blue stickers affixed to my windshield with a large black Colonel Eagle. Captain is a much loftier title in the Navy than in the Army. I was quite tempted to leave it. Nothing but bad things would have come out of that.
