I am just making this aware and thought I should share that there is another WWII airsoft event in Wolcott, CT at Ground Zero Airsoft on December 14th. Registration is found online at the Broken Arrow Website. It's themed for the Battle of the Bulge and there's more info in the link. Hope to some of you there (I am certainly interested on attending).
FYI: Despite the scenario for this being inspired by Battle of the Bulge, the organizer is welcoming all WWII impressions. Consider it an opportunity to meet this airsoft niche enthusiasts. If I end up coming, I'll be in my Red Army late war kit. Since no one is hosting any actual East Front airsoft events.
In the Summer a different organizer held an all impressions welcome event in Zulu24 in NY and the turnout was pretty big. Most people had American and Nazi kits. Two of us had proper Red Army kits. There was even one Jap and one Chinese Nationalist impressions.
Let's get out for this one and show our numbers despite the narrow subdivisions of this already niche airsoft genre we are into. Maybe a Greek or a Romanian impression somewhere here dying to debut?
Looks like it was a good time! I unfortunately woke up with a fever the morning of (probably from working in the rain all week) and slept in. Really hate that I had to miss it. I hope to see you all soon.

Dracul: It looks like it lost a lot of steam and I now feel bad for randomly dropping off.

stuka: I mean it's not your fault. It is interesting though that things are falling off as we are finally getting our ww2 guns with the type 38/96 and the enfield as well as it recieving a new loading system, it's kind of unfortunate

Dracul: I don't know, maybe its because all the guns are becoming available, there is a decreasing need for the forums.

Dracul: Most of the talk was about making guns, as all the uniform info was already out there, but now the weapons are out there and are usually decent quality.

stuka: well the forum is and should still be useful for updates on guns, creating groups/events and building kits

Cpl. Hicks: I haven't been here in years, but I'm glad to see this forum is still kicking! So much great info on here.

savoy6: anyone know if anyone still carries the enfield?

Dracul: I think Redwolf has a Enfield. If not or not longer, then not until G&G releases theirs. The old gas Iron Airsoft brand SMLE isn't carried by anyone anymore and was such piece of crap. Not worth trying to track one down.
