I've managed to fit the internals from a WE M14 gbbr into an ICS M1 aeg stock and fit a load of other real steel furniture: I modified the receiver a little to better relocate the look of the M1: Cut down M14 magazine with a 4mm airline running to a Mancraft regulator and CO2 adapter in the stock: I used the bottom of an ICS M1 magazine to cover up the bottom: I've modified the WE tube loader to act as a charger which should fit in the cartrisge belt: Loads through the top: Overall I'm quite happy with the conversion. I didn't want a normal aeg because quite frankly, I find them a bit boring! I can get over 50 shots from a single CO2 bulb and while changing them is fiddly, I find that with the restrictions on ammunition at WW2 events, I won't be needing to do it very often!

Wow. THAT, is something. Double thumbs up on this. I find myself addicted to CO2 guns as they have worked flawlessly for me over the years.

That is beyond cool. I have always wanted to see loading from the top. Very clever.

How does the push loader work? Is there a spring or anything?
Looks great!

Cheers chaps.
The loader has a plunger which just forces the bbs into the magazine, it's the same principle as the old tube speed loaders you used to get with Marui guns.

Impressive. Obviously a video showing it in operation is the next order of business. Way back (nearly 20 years ago) when an M1 Garand airport rifle was just a fantasy I had visions of a top loader like you have created but I invisioned a plunger speed loader that would look like an unblock clip and rounds. I even tried to fabricate one using modified existing speed loader but alas nothing I came up with functioned as I had hoped.

Hi everyone. I eventually got round to doing a demonstration this weekend of the M1 working and to show how it loads.
