I took a look at the auction, and that was one hell of a deal! Good luck. It doesnt really look like you have that much to do! This is the CHGs 12th SS's Ford truck, though im not sure if its a 1941 ford?

Wartime map of france, repro Torn Eb, repro rifle grenade box from the 1936 Olympics Repro wallet stocked with real photos, money, train tickets and theater tickets Repro sports shirt Wartime field made lighter. The body is a spar bolt from an me-109 with caps pressed into the sides. there is a wick coiled inside that stick up though what looks to me a small carb jet that was tapped into the bolt. Real map marking set with all the color pencils Wartime Oris watch, SN denotes its a Heer issue watch Dienstglas, with the correct Bakelite case. All the leather is intact and in near perfect shape. Glass is clear and the range finder is in perfect shape. The strap on the case seems to be a gas mask can strap and was attached with bailing wire.

I live in New Jersey. When my brother was touring Gettysburg College, I spent the day on the hunt for WWII things, and came across that store. The antique stores are filled with stuff there! I wanted to buy one of those deac's, but my parents said "next time we're here, there's plenty, they'll never run out"

That's a great source as typically the required components for a Springfield conversion have been brutally expensive. Obviously that will give you everything you'll need for a straight stock M1903A3 WW2 style Springfield except your base rifle. Great find!

As soon as I saw them the idea of a conversion popped right in my head. I need to convince my brother to take another tour of the college! ;D

So Steinwehr avenue is the Gettysburg Address? Lol, I couldn't help myself. Boots your Airsoft Springfield is just about all ready to ship. It's drying now and I'll get pictures to you tomorrow or Friday. It's coming along beautifully but as always seems to be the case has been more work then I planned on.
Cool gun. I wish I could emboss the logo and serial number in the reciever group as that would be really cool. U.S. Rifle Springfield Model 1903-A3 122913396

Hmm. I've actually gotten a bunch of stuff recently. Sold a bunch too! Original: East German rain camo tunic and trousers East German helmet, overseas cap, scarf, and balaclava East German y-straps, and AK mag pouch. WWII German breadbag and strap (not shown) New East German Jackboots in a size 13! Got a good deal on them too. Repro: (all WWII German stuff) canteen mag pouches and 8 mags AGM MP-40 and repro sling M-35 helmet Collar litzen, breast eagle, shoulder boards, and cap insignia Y-straps and enlisted belt (belt not shown) M-43 cap (not shown) M36 tunic and trousers (not shown) Lastly, a PSP! Pretty pumped about that one. Nice that my relatives gave me cash for Christmas... I'll get some more pictures up when I get everything and have the insignia on it. On that note, can anyone tell me what all I need to put the shoulderboards on the tunic? Thanks! -Andy

Andy - you don't have to do anything to the shoulder boards except put them on the tunic. They are ready to go as is for your rank.
I'm not sure how all the East German stuff is going to help you with a WW2 impression either. Maybe you are doing something more modern? Anyway if you are doing WW2 I'd go at it more slowly and stick to WW2 gear.

Oh, the East German stuff really isn't going to do anything for the WWII German impression. I'd found a few amazing deals on the East German stuff before I became interested in a WW2 impression, and since I've been doing an East German impression, I picked it up. So, it's not at all related to a WW2 impression. I'll be going at things slower now, I'd just been wanting some WW2 German gear, and I recently came across a decent sum of money. Don't worry though, I'll be sticking to WW2 stuff now! See you in Illinois. -Andy
