Hey everyone I didn't know where to put this, thread wise, so I just stuck it here. Hope thats ok. Moderators, please move if you see a more appropriate place.
Moving on, I was thinking about the medic rules, and I thought an interesting addition would be a chaplain. I think a chaplain could instgate "reincarnation" rules, by "praying" over the person, in much the way the medic rules work. You draw a card from the chaplain, and their is one "revival" card, that allows you to keep fighting, but the majority (97%, lets say) of the other cards are Death cards, meaning you have to wait for the medic to come to you.

Why would you want to be a chaplain in an airsoft event anyway it would be kind of boring no offense.

This ain't Wolfenstein!
Though, very creative. A Chaplain would do great for impressions, but you have no source of defense. I think.

Why would you want to be a chaplain in an airsoft event anyway it would be kind of boring no offense. Likewise, why would you want to be a medic? To add realism, ofcourse! ;D

While a Chaplin would be real bad for offence, they could be a great "Prop". I could see that keeping your Chaplin alive during a game could be worth extra points. They might also serve a similar role as medic and shorten respawn time. Likewise They could perhaps score points themselves for "administering last rites" (Not sure how that would work, or how ticked off folks would be by it)

Yea, some people would just crap their pants if they were playing then all of a sudden someone is saying their last rites. I wouldn't care but there is a handful of people I know who would.

one of our family friends was a chaplin in ww2 and i remember him showing me his helmet about 2 years ago. he once told me a story about a man he served with asking why he didnt carry a weapon (despite a little thing called the geneva convention) he quickyly responded. "i have the most powerful weapon on the battlefield. god. ok thats my story i was just trying to find an excuse to tell somebody that.

hahaha throught the war the men he served would give him "ammunition" which came in the form of little wood crosses they made in thier spare time. also a little post mass ritual they'd do was hand him the radio and ask him to call god and ask him for a relief break.
