Do you guys who live outside the US (particularly in Europe) have any problems with customs when you import your guns? Do you need any special paperwork? I just want to make sure some Police don't show up at my door askin about a gun if I end up getting one from a forign company.
Thanks, Click

it's better that on the box you get written Airsoft toys. No guns, firearms, or other related words. maybe some custom fees will be applied... at least in italy is in this way.... Bye bye!

I think you'll find that import rules and regulations will vary from country to country, so the best thing you could do is contact your own customs department and ask them if ther is anything special you have to do and what duty and tax will be charged. In England the duty is 4.7% and the tax is 17.5% which is charged on the value of the shipment + the duty .

Apparently that is somewhat random as some of my UK customers have had to pay a duty and tax when others haven't. I have no clue as to why. Certainly feel sorry for the ones that get hosed. As a seller I always worry about it but make it clear that the burden is on the one importing the items.

Because the custom fees (in italy) are not applied on every shipment, but they are applied on a random base (this yes these others no... )
ANy way from ASIA now they are taxing about everything....

Here in Canada ordinary people cannot import airsoft weapons.
Out of 6 retailers that had special licences 4 were closed down by customs within the last 6 months.
It is next to impossible to get new guns here nowadays

In France you do not want to use the word TOY anywhere on an airsoft shipment as it will cause your import customer alot of grief. I had my French customer find out what declarations to make and even provide me with the full and proper disclosure and compliance statements.
Many of my European shipments are incredibly slow while others arrive very quickly. I suspect Customs delays are the primary reason. I use the US Postal Service as it is the most reasonably priced (By a huge amount!) and while slow they have all arrived. "Knock on wood"
