Airsofters need to appreciate when they get the chance to use a beach, its not common. I honestly think that can be one hell of an event.
Franz
Also Cary, its gonna be tough explaining an SS uniform and a human body in my luggage...

Outnumbered we may have been, but by god, did the Allies get it big time coming off the landing craft. Firing the '42 straight into the landing craft, watching them literally mown down was about the closest id ever want to get to a Saving Private Ryan type situation... Plus, the Friday night booze up is going down in Legend for the sheer volume of alcohol consumed lol

Great work Guinness. This didn't look like an air soft event at all, but a reenactment. Great work everyone, I wish I had a ticket to the game.

I think there were only a few non period anyway.
Couple of m14s, the ak, and an l96 sniper rifle heavily scrimmed up.
I really dont think period weapons was an issue compared to many game days that pass themselves off as wwii but allow all sorts of modern kit.

I take it you guys do this event around the same time each year? I'm supposed to be in Ireland around Nov-Dec this year(hurling in Cork) and would love to try to make it.

I think Guman airsofts plan is to do D-day+2 this year and have the action move inland i think the beach landing isnt going to be done again.

That definitely looks worth the trip. Great job. The most impressive WW2 airsoft event I have seen to date. Well captured with your excellent video.
