Is it worth the money? It seems cool but I am not sure. It is either the shotgun or the carbine.

i'd get the carbine too. Shotguns were not commonly used on the front. They were more common amongst MPs escorting prisoners whether they were captured wehrmacht or just roudy drunken GIs on leave. Shotguns were used occasionally, but really only in urban situations and close quarters. Rifle would probably be a better choice.

Has anyone skirmeshed this gun before. I have used a maruzen 870 and it really sucked. i would love a good reliable shotgun that shot farther than ten feet. i know its not gonna be an aeg, or a rifle. Also it appears the shell load like moscart grenades is that true?

I know that the Marines carried a Remington shotgun that was semi-automatic, but I heard somwhere that they also carrried 1897 at one point.
