This gun sucked..., Tanaka made a new "heavy weight" version in which you would assume they fixed the flaws of the old versions.
Well, its better, but still not anything like you would want it to be.
It seems the biggest problem is occasionally the slide does not go far back enough to chamber a bb, when this happens, it will contiue to not chamber a bb until you manually pull the slide all the way back.
I did get it to shoot a whole 14 round mag flawlessly, but its rare.
I belive the gun could be pampered and improved, perhaps it just needs a break in period.
ONLY get this gun if you are really good with gbb pistols and have the money burning a hole in your pocket.
On another note, the model itself is really nice, and the "heavy weight" parts make it feel alot better. (the old version must have weighed in at something similar to a plastic fork.)
Like I said, advanced users only. -Gordak

Hfc134a,
and by the way, it has a big warning on it, to use hfc134a right on the box.
Useually the sell puts a sticker on the gun warning you to use hfc 134a only,
this the first time where i saw the factory actually pring the warning.
Doe anyone have a tanaka high power that works well? -Gordak

ok, It works now, The mag sags in the well and this causes the diagonal firing pin to have to travel too far.
If you shoot two hand, (one hand holding the mag up in place), its shoots flawlesly Perhaps adding a wee bit of material to the mag catch would make it fit a bit firmer? very accurate gun by the way, and the Huge mag is an advantage.
yeah if your a brit, you shoudl get this. -Gordak
