Chris,
Thanks for the great review. How many rounds does the magazine hold and how available are spare magazines? There were several of the long barrel versions with stocks at the BoB game and people were very pleased with them even though it was cold and certainly not optimal for gas guns.

John,
The Mauser mag holds 30 rounds- and I have not seen extra mags being offered by any of the retailers yet.
Good catch, I will add this to the review, Thanks!

Looks great! I do wonder how it will be after a thousand rounds, but I agree, the trades are a must!
I guess Im going to get one now.
Well If its ok with Arnie, ill just include a link, in the airsoft guns section, ill ask him.
Usually I only add a gun, when we know for sure, its decently made.
m just curious if anyone has one that has about a thousand rounds thru it? -Gordak

"Hey Schmitty.... He likes it!!!" Yes, I now have three variations of the mauser broomhandle. The original Marushin I've had for a few years now, The Metal HFC and the HFC carbine. I have used the Marushin a lot and never had any problems at all with it. I haven't had either of the HFC's long enough to comment on their reliability but they are exact copies of the Marushin only in metal instead of plastic, So I would guess they will hold up similarly well.

hey schmitty, i have the carbine, and i took it down for cleaning since i am the third person to own this gun. i got the internals back into the trigger box all right, but i can't figure out how to get everything (internals, barrel, bolt) back into the receiver. i know the box has to be connected to the barrel/bolt pieces then it slides into the receiver, but i just can't get it. any tips?
