I'm pretty sure that people would get pissed off to have a liquid sprayed all over their expensive gear.

I'll get a close up photo when I can for yiou and post it here so you can see what I mean you cant sand and repaint. you might be able to spackle with epoxy and sand but then I just bought a wood and metal one that a fellow ww2 german airsofter made and looks a bit more real

Yeah does anyone know the exact measurements of the potato masher so that I might be able to make my own? Instructions would be nice also.

Speak of the Devil! I'm currently putting together an NVA / VC impression for my Vietnam War unit, and having several "potato mashers" slung at my side would be a fantastic addition. I'm all ears if anyone has any brain-farts. Hell, they don't even have to work; just sitting there and looking pretty is all I'm after. So, yeah, any thoughts on this would greatly be appreciated.---Ben

I have a shippment of "Potato Mashers" currently in the hands of US Customs. If I ever get my hands on them they will be added to my site. They are fantastic repros. Unfortunatley I can't take a picture of them till they are released from Customs!
