One of a uncommon gun to have on the field is a springer, but I had recently come upon a gun that I thought was quite an asset. It's a Double Eagle MP40, a spring gun, and quite a catch. This is a full review on this unsung hero. My first impression when I got it was "looks like a nice gun but hopefully works for a cheap spring" I assembled it right then and there and boy was it a looker, I wouldn't let go of it until that night. Then I tested it with 6mm paintballs, and it could shoot about 200 fps, about common for a spring, and better than some $100 electric rifles, it was very powerful and the paintball busted on the first hit. To get another's opinion I let my friend try it in the field, and there were mixed results. It was difficult to cock and load, and it was inaccurate, but I thought it was pretty much as qualified as an average gun in the field, but as with any other gun there are pros and cons.
Pros: Inexpensive Scope Mountable (R.I.S on top) Looks cool Looks historical accurate (besides R.I.S) Powerful Lasts long
Cons: Difficult to load Inaccurate Cheaply Made No extra mags available
Final rating: 3 out of 5 because it's a great wall hanger, inexpensive, light weight, and great for plunking, but it's inaccurate, and cheap, and I don't think it's fit for anything beyond a close quarters battle.

Hey Wade, Ben here. I'm glad you decided to put a review on this piece. I, like you, have ordered one, and look forward to receiving it. Previously, I've owned a TOPP MP40, and loved every minute I had with it, only to lose it to the norm: poor craftsmanship. Anywhoo, thanks a bunch for your oppinions.

Haha, everything is $12.00 now, isn't it? Yes, Sgttom, you really need to stop bringing up old threads. The admins will get tired of it and you will just get the boot.
