Well, this is my first written review, so please, be easy on me Anyways, I got this off ebay used, and I love it!!
Appearance :10/10
The simulated wood looks amazing!! and In the photos, it is after I made it look more "worn", but even before, it looked great. The upper reciever is very sturdy metal, and it it gives it the classic "gun metal" look, and the trademarks stamped on both sides make it look even better! The selector switches look awesome, and the mag release is also metal.
Performance: 8.9/10
The Thompson shoots well at around 280, to 290 FPS. It came with a 3000 mAh battery, and a The gearbox is great, and I know is quite reliable being Tokyo Mauri. The only bad thing about its performance, is that sometimes when It is on semi auto, it seems to fire full auto anyways, but that is only sometimes. Out if the box, with only a 1/4 charge, it shot right through a Coco cola can, and almost penetrated the other side at about 10 feet away. On a full charge, not much different, but it went through both sides of the can. The Thompson fires very VERY fast at a rate of around 800 to 850 rounds per minute (I believe). Comparing it to the AGM MP40, the Thompson shoots almost as far, but not quite. Overall, the Thompson
Shoots magnificent, but with some small minor flaws.
Hop Up
The Hop up is in a very desirable place located right where the ejection port is on the Real Thompson. It is very accurate, and shoots very very straight! At around 28 yards, it hit about 2 1/2 inches from the Bulls Eye.
Presentation 11/10
The Box this baby came in was very cool!! The packaging was great, including Tan wax paper, and a proper cardboard positioner. The Instruction manual was very cool, with many visual displays along with a history of the Thompson. It did also come with many targets, and a bb loader, and a clearing rod. Myne also came with a Tracer adapter.
Overall: 10/10 ;D
Overall, in a nut shell, this gun is amazing!! It is reliable, it shoots well, ''with some minor flaws'' but really nothing, and the overall appearance is Awesome!! The simulated wood looks like real wood, and just the overall Bulkness of it really impresses me! Buy one and youll never regret it!!
Im also getting a CYMA Thompson from my buddy mauser98k and ill do some comparison photos, and a written review once I recieve it, and ill just post it on this same thread. Look for it later on!
Cheers,
