Of what you know is the Springer 1928 a decent looking gun does it hold up well how much of it is metal.

It hasn't been done before, and theres a reason for that. If you want to spend 110 for the m1a1 as a base gun, another 100 or so for a spring m1928, and end up with at best something that looks as ugly as those spring 1928's and have a ruined m1a1 go to along with it...go ahead. There is an alternative though, just living with the m1a1.
I believe you're trying to do a 101st impression for elder90's unit right? Because if so m1928 Thompsons weren't common in the 101st by any means. I know somebody who spent several hours looking for them in 101st photo's....they found 2 pictures of them out of several hundred.

sgttom, you should be saving your money, your only 13 and you keep asking for low cost ways around stuff, when you have more money you can do the impression the rightway.

I have only accounted one picture, and that was Cpt. Spiers with the 101st in Edinhoven. It took me hours of searching, and some help. It just isn't common enough for the 101st to have a M1928. Also, just save your money, please.

Its possible...but like Yankee said, its not worth it. Stick with the M1A1.

Ha I live in Michigan And I I am not waiting to be a Reenactor. I am in the 3rd infantry Sgt.Drust sqaud not the 101st.
