dude i liked wintalkers for real i did. Uh, yeah, that scares me a little, almost as much as Dakota's ramblings at 3:00 AM. Research? Hollywood don't need no stinkin RESEARCH!

If you liked it for the story and suspended your need for historical accuracy it was an ok movie. I've watched it once but not over and over again it just wasn't that good.

i honestly liked the intro a little, because it was nuts. even though theres a scene where nick cage gets blown up then next scene hes behind a log? i just thought it was cool that they made a ww2 marine movie. i mean it is just a movie.

dude i liked wintalkers for real i did. and gunfreak the english would be speaking german if it wasent for america Please may i direct you to the period between June 1940 and October 1940? Back onto topic..i like watching BoB from an entertainment point of view...and from what i've read it was quite accurate. They did a good job with the cast IMO.

I swear there is a guy hear in Wisconsin that looks just like Malarky (the actor that played him), browner hair though. It was at a local game I saw him and actually went up and told him, said he'd never seen it before. Looked just like him after Breaking point when he had started growing the beard. It was pretty wierd.

hey I know you guys are a couple of FNG's, but around here, we dont bring up old posts, that don't have much importance around here, and just add to the long line of BS. Just to let you know, the mods and admins wont stand for necro posting, and you will go on a nice vaction if you keep it up. Luckily for you guys, im not an admin and i cant do anything about it.

speaking of all of the reasons people got into WWII...
the reason i got into WWII i blame the old black and white movies. watching those as a "very" little kid that already loved war + the fact the German uniforms appealed to my little mind in a way none ever had or have to this day. the officer uniforms to me seem to demand respect from all others.
all that got me into WWII and Germany, and then i started studying the war, movies, games, anything i could get my hands on. and as a kid i also wanted to rule the world, the Germans just seemed like they could have done it to me...but eh

hey FYI Damien Lewis, the actor who plays Winters has a new TV show on NBC where he'll be playing a police detective who was a former convict. Looks interesting
