I posted this over at the WW2 Reenactors Forum, but since there are probably some folks who aren't members there, I'll repost here.
Recently, In various posts on the forum, I've been making references to a short film that I've been working on. Well, the film is now complete and available for viewing as a submission to the upcoming Fox reality show, On The Lot, being executive produced by Mark Burnett and Steven Spielberg (yes, that Steven Spielberg).
Cleverly described by one of our larger vendors (who supplied nearly all the field gear, as well as a few other odds and ends) as "83 Charlie Mopic films the Zone Troopers attacking the Blair Witch," the film tells the tale of the disappearance of some U.S. infantrymen in Italy in 1943 and the subsequent cover up of the incident.
On The Lot will be a competition among 16 undiscovered film makers split into teams who will shoot a new short film each week in a genre picked for them by the judges. The ultimate prize being a chance at a one million dollar development deal at DreamWorks.
We need as many viewings and ratings for our film as we can get. To watch the film, go to films.thelot.com/films/22989 . If you'd like to rate the film or leave a review you'll need to register, but it's free. Please help us out if you can.
A NOTE TO THE STITCH NAZIS OUT THERE: I tried as hard as I could to get the details right, but a couple of things slipped past me during the shoot as I was doing several jobs that day. Also, I didn't get a chance to see the final cut before it was uploaded, so please cut me some slack, okay?
I hope you enjoy the show!
Cheers!
