Cool! I'll be sure to friend you on there, we fought the allies for about 8 hours straight yesterday when the camaign started. The highlight for me was when I got 12 kills with an 88 in about 5 minutes from the hogh ground over looking Sedan. The lowpoint was when a brit with a thompson hosed 4 of us with one magazine as we ran down an alley with the last 4 submachineguns in the brigade .

By the way, yesterday when I started the game, I selected the training first. I completed it all and shut the game. Later when I tried the gampaign option, it showed me that I haven't done any of the trainings.
So, do I have to save my current progress on the game somehow before I quit? Or was it because of the training option that my data wasn't saved? And do I need to do all the training before I can start the gampaign?
I haven't been able to play the game after yesterday but I hope I can play few minutes after works, so I would really apreciate if someone can help me with this issue :)

You dont need an upgrade, it has a pretty sub-par graphics engine. All you need is enough RAM to be able to play it. I want to start playing again, but tuition comes first :/

The game seems a shadow of its former self. I played it like a madman back in 04-05. A lot of people were playing back then upwards of 500 people taking towns. We didn't have MSP, so we had to tail gate jump off opels. You could even spawn camp barracks back then.
It really seems like a lot less people are playing now. I tried it out around Christmas of last year. I enjoyed it for a week or two, but found there weren't very many huge battles just a lot of small unit tactics (15-20) people raid a town (10-20 hold em off).

There are huge battles, Ive seen them,
I mean Ive flown over a town being defended by a couple hundred players... and then about an hour later the town falls to a superior force, that would mean 3 to 400 attackers in just that one fight.
another cool think is you can see 128 players at once now, back when you played it was only 64.

Is the fighting steady though? When I tried to replay back during Christmas I only managed to find a couple of big battles most were almost over or in the mop up stages (cleaning out the hold outs in the depots or cps)
When did they bump it from 64-128? I noticed they had the players visible on the map which was kinda cool.

Id say it really depends, its not hard to be in a battle, Battles seem to go quicker now with brigades and mobile spawns. The cool thing is this fall, we get a whole new load of totally awesome improvments.
Including,
Weather, Ragdoll bodies Much better foilage new bunkers, shadows etc etc

The new teaser videos of the weather, terrian and rag doll effects look good. If they'd upgrade the player models and repackaged they'd properly get a lot more people on board.

I'd love to get back into this, but last time I tried (few months back) there was already anyone playing, no matter what day or time I logged on.
Really wish they'd do a repackage and sale, other then word of month they don't get much advertising.

Has the population increased at all since the new rag doll patch? Have been considering playing again, but last year I couldn't believe how dead everything was in the game. Nothing like what it used to be in 05/06.
