I haven't met any hip firing MG42's when I was playing the game. I think that was a bit of an exaggeration. I thought it was quite fun for how short, and inaccurate it was. I know the upgrades were silly, the weapons weren't 100% authentic. The uniforms looked good to me for the most part, and the graphics were really good, as most next generation games are. I mean come on, its medal of honor. As 2nd Bat would say, It's like saying, for a fat chick, she doesn't sweat much.
I have no ide how you completed the game without meeting those guys, they show up on the fifth mission and you meet them on the sixth to.
I fierd 3 rifle granades in it's face and it just cept fireing
Just so everyone knows that wasn't my text, I can spell! I was just saying that for the most part, it was okay. They weren't throughout the whole game or anything. You are making this game seem like COD: Big Red One on Xbox Live with everyone having MG34's running around shooting everyone. That is all.

This game is very fun...except for the last level with the Super Dooper Nazi Storm Trooper with the MG42 that took seven million shots to the head and 5 gammon grenades to kill....But yea other than that...it was fun!

I have nearly completed the last level, but I am close enough to post a brief review: DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!
1) There are too few levels. When I pay 50 dollars for a single player game, I expect an extended campaign
2) The levels feel closed. Even though one of the supposed strengths of the game was its openness, I felt very limited by the rather obnoxious "walls" of the levels. Unlike other games where you play as airborne and spend time wandering to find units, objectives, or enemies, this game drops you into combat immediately mere feet away from your primary objective.
3) Enemies are ranked in skill by a 1-10 scale. I don't mind playing against intelligent, skilled, or just plain difficult enemies. Games are no fun when you feel like you're in a shooting gallery, but at the same time I don't want to play against impossible enemies. Also, it felt cheesy thinking (hey, Fallshchirmjager commander, what level is he??)
4) In game weapon upgrades. Cheesy.
The most glaring problem of all was that the game simply wasn't fun. With so few levels, I thought they must all be gems which I would play over and over again; out of all the levels, there is not one which I would want to replay. Even the Normandy level (the center of attention in COD or MOH) was awful... The worst part of the game had to be the "boss" fight at the end of operation Varsity. I think I was fighting a crazy SS soldier from Prinz Eugen division with totenkopf collar patches, wielding an MG-42! This was stupid and the fact that it took me just under 20 lives to beat him didn't imrpove my feelings.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! DON'T BUY THIS GAME!

Note: The multiply player option on Xbox live is pretty good. For the campaign, I thought it was kind of fun. Yes, it did have some weak points, and it wasn't authentic at all, but we have to remember it is a video game and suited some gamers out there. I did feel kind of cheated that all you could participate in was the drops, and nothing more. Also, getting achievements on xbox was either super easy (kill a german!) or impossible (get 30 kills in a row), which kills my gamerscore.

I played it last night. Excellent graphics and sounds (love the Tommy Gun and ricochet f/x) but the air drop angle is a gimmick at best. The drop takes about 15 seconds and then it's just another WW2 shooter for the next 20 minutes. I also noticed that it took about 10 rounds to drop an enemy. *Yawn* Not worth 60.00 unless you are in need of a new WW2 shooter right now. I will buy it when it's in the bargain bin.
