Some of my Battlesim comrades and I went to a Re-enactor event last weekend (as Fallschirmjager) and where asked to appear briefly in a scene for an upcoming independent film called Every mans war. We are not in the trailer (yet) but it looks pretty good: www.everymanswarthemovie.com/ Hopefully be out by this summer. Schmitty

It looks great!
(I am distantly reminded of the movie Saint's and Soldiers...)

Seems like a real good movie, I'll definitely have to see it. Unit seems to be the 94th.
On an off topic note, there's an excellent book titled "Visions from a foxhole" about a veteran who served with the 94th just after the bulge. Definitely a good read if one want's to be a little more informed on the subject before seeing the movie.

It looks pretty good from what I saw on the site. I also found this listing on Craig's list, though: portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cwg/598178659.htmlI find it interesting how many low-budget WW2 films got the green light right after Saints and Soldiers did pretty well. More strange to me is how three of them are being filmed in Oregon. I'm assuming this film was filmed there, there's "Pathfinder; in the company of strangers," in post production there right now, and another one I just heard of I'm supposed to keep mum as I'm helping out with some props on it. Several other projects didn't get off the ground, though. I know of some folks who tried to get a film going about the 17th AB jump on the Rhine. The problem was, they wanted re-enactors to not only be in it for free, but to donate money to the film's production. They also wanted C-47-DC-3 users to volunteer their time and fuel costs! Needless to say, everyone being asked told them where to stick it. They dreamed big but didn't have anything to back it up with.
