Call Sign: The Shadow Real Name: Ken Collins Age: 49 Impression: Technical Sergeant from the 2nd Bn, 506th PIR, 101st Abn Div, gear is generic for the Operation Neptune through Operation Market-Garden drops. I can modify it for use with the M1A1 carbine, M1A1 Thompson, or M3A1 Greasegun. It has taken me 4+ years to put this together, and I am STILL looking for that occasional item to make it better. Airsoft period weaponary: Marushin 6mm gas M1 Carbine gunsmithed into the folding stock M1A1 version, bayonet lug removed and rear sight replaced with the flip "L" sight (WWII specs) with 5 magazines Hudson GBB M3A1 Greasegun, only 1 magazine so far Maruzen GBB PPK, 1 magazine Non-Airsoft Period weaponary: Hudson PFC M1A1 Thompson Nongun Hudson PFC Sten Mk II Nongun Marushin PFC MP40 Nongun MGC 1921 Thompson Nongun (have both vertical and horizontal wood forestocks, and "L" Drum and 20 round stick magazines Marushin Colt 1911 Nongun MGC PFC P-38 Nongun MGC PFC P-08, 4" bbl Nongun MGC P-08 8" Artillary Model with wood stock/holster Nongun Denix PPK Nongun I have too many other Airsoft and Nongun models to list here in my collection. PFC stands for Plug Fire Cartidge, a system that uses special caps in dummy "cartridges" to simulate firing. I retired from the 101st back as a Sergeant First Class (E-7) back in '96 after 20+ years Active Service and currently am employed in the Private Security Sector. I have been active in Airsoft for about 10 years, and am known in the Community as The Shadow, The_Shadow, or something similar. I am a transplated member of NEASG, NJAOC, am a Moderator on ASC, and also on VAF's forums. One of the founding members of the midwest WWIIAS I'm back!! My new user name is Tanker44 I am also a member of the World War II Historical Reenactment Society U.S. 70th Tank Bat. I'm a driver for one of the weapons carriers and or halftracks. There is about six vehicles in the unit with more additions coming. A fellow unit is the 14th Armored out of Kentucky and they are the only ones with more vehicles. I have been reenacting for over 23 years as a G.I. So now I drive instead of walk. Is there a chance that something like this unit could happen to AS? Give it alittle time, I have just started telling them about WW2AS. So far so good, they are interested in learning more about it. With most reenactors it takes alittle time. I look forward to getting out on the battlefield with you guys again.
