Hello all, I'm Julius from Lithuania (do you know where it is? As far as i'm concerned i'm first lithuanian in this forum). I'm 20 years old student, don't have a job, studying roads and railways engineering. I was always interested in guns and a bit of hystory. A year ago i started to play airsoft, but no ww2 so far in airsoft. I decided to relate hystory and airsoft, so it would be more interesting and useful for me (i'm thinking about german soldier role in game) Then found this forum, thought it's nice community. First thing i did - looked all DIY section Big inspiration came and then and i've decided to build my own stuff (probably mg42). Thank you all for this forum (and sorry if I make some mistakes in English).

First, Hello, My name is Davis I'm 17 and I live in Tulsa Oklahoma. I've been interested in airsoft for a few years now but hadn't the funds to really get into it till recently. I'm also a Big fan of WWII Era, it's just, well, you know Anyway I have been doing my homework on airsoft since I first found out about it, and having to re-learn certain information a couple times because I couldn't buy anything and then I go and do my other hobby's. I Picked out an KingArms M1A1 Thompson from AirsoftGI, along with a TM 450hc mag, a battery and a charger. And I stumbled across this site while looking for reviews for the KA M1A1, And I thought, this is right up my alley. So I'm looking around the various sites that have been linked from here, checking the prices for gear. And I'm kicking myself for not buying what I think were a few pairs of HBT jacket and pant from an estate sale not very far from my house. And I have the feeling it would of been really cheap too. They also had Allot of military sewing kits, But what I did get was a complete "Gillette Khaki set" so it wasn't a total goof. And the Saturday flea market has a surplus guy, so I'll be checking there for stuff too. Anyway sorry for the long post, I plan to keep lurking about the site slowly creating my Sub-machine Gunner GI Impression. Oh, Quick question, would I still have the M1 pouches or would those be replaced by Five cell pouches?

Any trooper armed with a Thompson would use either the 5 cell pouch or the G/P bag .

Guess I'll chime in.... I'm Matt from Pittsburgh (Bethel Park) and I'm...shiver....40yo . Did the WW2 Reenactor thing for a number of years before "retiring" and thought I'd check out the airsoft thing now. Much more cost effective buying an AEG MP44 than a real one! ;D

Name: James Reynolds
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Contact: dj.reynolds.j@gmail.com
Weapons: KWA SR-10 M4, M1911, ICS M4, TM M1A1(was my pride and joy until it was stolen)
Other hobbies: Writing, video games, card games, board games, reading, and hanging out with friends.
I have been looking a this forum for a couple weeks and enjoyed what I've seen so far. I came across this forum looking for a M1 Garand GBB (Marushin) reviews and saw a thread about M14 conversions into M1 Garand. Told my friend about the conversions and he came up with the idea of doing full WW2 impressions of Allies and Axis, because we have gotten bored with normal airsoft.
I'm still in the market for a M1 Garand AEG.
Thank you for your time.

Hi all,
Just thought I'd better introduce myself before I continue lurking. My name is Simon, I'm from Dublin, Ireland but I live in Chicago now for grad. school, and I'm hoping to get into WWII airsoft. I just picked up a used TM Thompson for an absolute bargain, so I'm hoping to find an allied unit in the Chicago/MKE IL/WI area to join. This seems like a great forum, with lots of great info, I'm glad I found it.

Figured I check in. Name is Matt. Those of you into Vnas may know me as Jack Daniels. I am a Marine and am working on a Marine Raider impression. I am looking into making a custom 1903 until an affordable M1 Garand or Carbine aeg is come out. Will probably get the new ICS M3 when it comes out.

Hello All I am yahooda I'm 12 and am going to start wwii reenacting I have a job mowing the lawn of someone who lives down the street but besides that, it's still really hard for kids especially in this economy to get money which doesn't go well with the fact that a lot of things for wwii airsoft are more expensive than regular airsoft however I'm going to give it a shot. I have a miltech m1943 jacket and a m1c helmet but that's as far as my impression goes. I look forward to meet this community YAHOO!

Hello WW2AA! My name is Daniel, or just Dan. Before WW2 airsoft, I used to do Soviet airsoft. Several of my old impressions include: Soviet VDV Afghanistan, Soviet Motor Rifles Afghanistan, and the First and Second Chechen wars VDV. When I'm not airsofting, I'm usually working on my truck. A 98' Nissan Frontier. My WW2 collection is also starting. I'm planning on doing a German heer impression. I'm half-way finished with the Kar 98 conversion. I just need to find out how to do the rear-sights, and I'll be finished!

Alrighty then... My name is Jared Robbins, I am 18 years old, and from Grayling MI I joined because I prefer airsoft over paintball, and reenacting is probably going to be a long lasting hobby for me. I currently do NOT have any impressions or WWII era guns, but I'm sure that after a good summer job and graduation presents, I should be able to afford one or both. There isn't much airsoft action where I live, but my brothers and I love to play, and my youngest brother seems to have an interest in the WWII aspect as well. Besides that, my other hobbies include: SOCCER and drawing comics, both of which I would like to do proffessionally, but this is going to be my "on the weekends" deal! Glad to have joined!

Cool, thanks guys for the welcomes! As for impressions, I was probably thinking about doing an American to start off with, and then branching off the beaten track and doing either commonwealth or Finnish. (the reason why is because I am Finnish, and Finland is awesome. ) sgttom, thanks for the invite! but first of all, a standard us or German kit would have to do. But until then, let the noobies come! NEXT!

I would like to say that since th time i have found this excellant forum, it has, and everyone here have been a great help to me. Thanks you all! <S>
